To get to Elijah’s Rest from:
Belgrade exit off of Interstate 90. Take MT 85 south toward Yellowstone National Park till you reach the intersection of MT Rt. 84 and US 191. Make a right there onto MT Rt. 84. Go straight onto 84 and follow till it ends in Norris at the Junction of US 287. Make a left onto US 287 going south to Ennis. When in Ennis US 287 junctions with MT 287. There is a statue of a fly fisherman at this junction. Here you will turn right onto MT 287 toward Virginia City. Proceed through Virginia City to the town of Alder. From Alder Elijah’s Rest, in Laurin, is 2 miles. When you see the sign for Laurin there will be 3 entrances into Laurin on the left, take the 3rd entrance. There will be a sign on the corner for St. Mary’s Catholic Church. After making this left you will take next right and Elijah’s Rest is 1/10th of a mile on right.
Butte. Take interstate 90 east to Whitehall exit and turn right at end of ramp. Proceed to tee in road make right onto Mt Rt. 55. Follow to intersection of MT Rt. 41 and Mt 287. Stay on 41/287 to Twin Bridges. In Twin Bridges stay straight on MT 287 to Sheridan. From Sheridan, Elijah’s Rest is 8 miles south. When you see the sign for Laurin make next right at St. Mary’s Church sign. Then next right and 1/10th of a mile on right is Elijah’s Rest.
Dillon. Take MT Rt. 41 east or north to Twin Bridges and turn right onto MT 287. In Twin Bridges stay on MT 287 to Sheridan. From Sheridan, Elijah’s Rest is 8 miles south. When you see the sign for Laurin make next right at St. Mary’s Church sign. Then next right and 1/10th of a mile on right is Elijah’s Rest.
